We’ve built a new site for the OBPO – an online version of their entire First Nations Catalogue. The site is editable, searchable and fully indexed alphabetically by title and by category. Plus, it is built entirely using a custom Wordpress theme and a few third-party plugins. Have a look!
Award-winning Canadian author and journalist Joan Thomas is the subject of our latest author website launch. The entire design and development process, which included the author at all stages, was completed in only about two weeks, not counting the holidays. Check it out.

Allen Zuk has an exciting new author workshop planned for the week of December 14 at a soon-to-be-announced downtown Toronto location. Taking Control of Your Content, Level I will be a full-day, hands-on session for any author who wants to learn how to set up a blog-based website. Complete walkthoughs will be provided for the following tasks:
- configuring a domain name
- setting up email addresses
- creating a database
- installing Wordpress on the server
- installing social networking plugins
- writing and editing posts
- and much more!
Computers will be provided, so participants will not need to bring one, but they will need access to an internet-enabled computer later in order to manage their sites. No software needs to be purchased as site management will be done through a web browser. The workshop fee includes one year of basic web hosting, and all participants will leave the session with a live, functional blog site.
This workshop is for authors who do not currently have a website, or who have an online blog without a dedicated domain name. A basic knowledge of the web is necessary for this workshop, and all participants will have to choose and purchase a domain name before the event.
